Guidelines
This is the Good Conduct List of PhantasyBar. Following these guidelines will ensure a safe and happy environment for all of our visitors.
1. Language. Since PhantasyBar is located on the Web, anyone can stumble across us – in fact, anyone can join! This means that yes, younger eyes will occasionally browse these forums. As such, we ask that all of our members be considerate in their posts regarding offensive speech. No words are banned as of now, and we’d like to keep it that way. We only ask that you think before you submit your posts, and try to use language that is family-friendly as often as possible.
2. Content. Content and language go hand in hand at PhantasyBar. For the reason that these forums are viewable to every human of all walks, please be considerate on what you choose to share and post – in everything from avatars and signatures to actual threads. If you would not show an image to your parents, your children, your mentors, and your CEOs, please do not show it here! If any of the above acquaintances would be offended by something, chances are very good your fellow members wouldn’t appreciate it either.
3. Editing and Double Posting. Double posts (posts created by the same user, back to back) are allowed at PhantasyBar, especially if the posts are days, weeks, or months apart. However, you are able to edit all of your posts as well, so if you wish to correct anything in a previous post, please use the Edit function rather than posting a reply to yourself. This will help keep the boards clean and easy to browse.
4. Post Count and Rank. Please do not post excessively, or “spam,” purely to increase your post count and rank. Spammers will be dealt with by the mighty hands of the Dragons – do not risk their claws.
5. Copyright Infringement, Plagiarism, and Stolen Work. This is just a friendly reminder. All work (art or written) posted at PhantasyBar is posted at your own risk. We cannot help you if your work is stolen or plagiarized by another member, and we also ask that you post nothing that is not yours. Helpful Hint: The Poor Man’s Copyright. Simply mail a hard copy (printouts, no disks!) of your work to yourself before posting it online, and save the SEALED envelope in a safe place. The postmark date and stamp will stand up in a court of law just like a real copyright.

If you are here to advertise your construction company, your art show or anything else in that vein...you don't want to do it here!
We have a pretty savvy group of people and they are very quick to report suspicious threads!
People you give yourselves away with nonsense...if the thread doesn't make sense someone here is going to flag it and the mods - like me - are going to get rid of it!
If you get flagrant about it, we will delete your account...
That's not what PBO is about. We are here to share our experiences as struggling, established, and even sometimes artists...not to turn a profit...or bump our hit count on google analytics or anything else!
